Modal analysis and vibration control of a vertical cable with dual tuned mass dampers

چکیده
This paper proposes a vibration model for modal analysis and control of vertical cable-dual tuned mass damper (C-DTMD) coupled system. The proposed introduces several non-dimensional parameters to describe the in-plane Moreover, phenomenon split is comprehensively studied present complex modes. Parameter conducted show influence length ratio, damping frequency ratio on reduction. In addition, theoretical verified using finite element methods. A practical cable in Jiangyin Bridge with designed wind loads chosen as numerical example. results that DTMD devices can effectively reduce have great potential multi-mode cables suspension bridges. accurately modes C-DTMD systems provides basis optimal design parameters.
